Well, today didn't go quite as planned. The first half was taken up with all that pesky real world stuff like shopping and cleaning. When it finally cam time to trek on out, I was searching for a jumper as the rains were nearing, only to find my better half crashed out on the lounge. Guess the many hours yesterday were a little too much.
Unfortunately, this means I won't be back out there til next week, unless somehow I miraculously get up way too early in the morning and go traipsing through the morning dew. Mmm, maybe...
I did however lock in a studio in Sydney to hold the auditions next week. Oh yes, by this time next week, we should have our leads. Looking forward to having them on board, lots to do as soon as they are too. Besides some serious rehearsals, we've got to test out some new HD make up, get some stills for posters and a few other items, but most importantly, we've yet to go out and shoot our digital storyboard.
Oh yes, the digital storyboard. Where we go out into the locations and pretty much shoot what we intend to shoot, just without effects and lights and without decent audio. Hopefully it'll show us what will work, but more importantly what won't work.
I also set up a project for Relentless on Indie GoGo, as you can find the widget for up on the right there. Basically, it's trying to get some funding to help out with the production, but offers some cool stuff in return, like signed DVDs, the script, posters, t shirts, and even some latex limbs made here by Irene.
Check it out, tell some people, and hopefully I'll have a great film for you guys in a few months.
